    First of all i can't really deside on what GPU would fit me the best for - Gaming/Streaming.
    As in my country GTX 1080 by EVGA(LINK) is cheaper than GTX 1070 Ti by Zotec(LINK ).

    Is actually 1080 better than 1070 ti?

    Is there any specific GPU you guys can suggest for gaming/streaming in 500-700 eur range around there.

    Answer: The GTX 1080 is faster. If it is cheaper as well. There is no reason to buy a GTX 1070 Ti. Unless you can find a GTX 1080 Ti in that price range. You aren't going to do any better than a GTX 1080.

    Answer: well newer=better doesn't really apply here. Judging by the unconfirmed reports it's the same GPU (GP104) it's built on the same fab, identical chip size and power requirements. The 1070ti appears to be just a cut down 1080, with more CUDA cores and higher clocks than the regular 1070.

    The 1080 will still perform better. End of.

    Answer: I rate a GTX 1080 as a better buy if the price is similar. I would not really count too much on overclock. Both cards can overclock but in some games overclocking will quickly throttle back as ambient temps rise. Should count on stocks speeds first and foremost.
    VR will work pretty well with both cards.

    Also consider 144Hz for the 2K monitor as that is a huge difference and probably the best part of an upgrade. VR will most likely be a short term thing for you but 144Hz would be a permanent and awesome upgrade.
    General word on the net is that 500W should be enough for a 1080 but that's without overclocking so 550W will probably be enough if you don't overclock but this depends on makes and various other parameters of the PSU. Yours looks likes a decent one.

    Answer: Getting a 1070ti is the smarter choice in this scenario, performance degradation is present in the 1080 mini card that you want the 1070ti actually has a good amount of overclocking room but at the end of the day it is up to you .

    Answer: Since you’re staying there wouldn’t go higher than a 1070 and would skip the next gen completely.
